One other thing.  You could also do a binary split on the mbox file.  Open
it in a text editor, go to around the midpoint, write the first half out to
mbox1, the second to mbox2.  mboxtrain on both, then repeat the split
operation for the mbox file which exhibits the failure.  With 2000 messages,
you should need only 7 or 8 splits to isolate the culprit message.
