This spammer has a rudimentary understanding of the type of filtering
technology that includes Spambayes. Essentially, he has attempted to
evade the filter by intentionally misspelling words. This technique,
while sometimes effective at evading filters, is probably not very
effective with recipients. In order for a spammer to succeed, he must
have responses to the spam to justify both his techniques and his
existence. It is relatively clear that this type of spam gets an
unacceptably low response rate. If it didn't, then virtually all spam
would employ these techniques.
However, should by some turn of events, this technique come into
widespread use AND become particularly effective at evading our filter (a
highly unlikely scenario), then we will modify our program to account for
it. We already have several ideas as to how this could be done, but have
not included them in the current system because to date the problems they
solve have not been deemed significant enough to warrant the effort of
modifying the system.
Thank you for your continued interest in our program... are you still
considering helping us with a French translation?
