[Spambayes] Whitelisting

The FAQ says that SpamBayes doesn't do whitelisting but without telling which definition of "whitelisting" it is using.

The one I'm interested in is "Never treat as spam email coming from someone in my address book", which has been working great for me throughout a variety of email clients and spam filtering software over the years.  

Does SpamBayes automatically treat as ham email coming from someone in my Contacts folder?
