The log has three suspicious entries:
> Bayes database initialized with 0 spam and 0 good messages
This says that you have no training information. You need to train
SpamBayes before it will be able to filter your mail - it does not come with
any pre-existing knowledge.
> Cancelling wizard
The wizard would help you setup SpamBayes and also perform some initial
training. Is there any reason that you cancelled out of it?
> *** SpamBayes is NOT enabled, so will not filter incoming mail. ***
You need to enable SpamBayes before it will filter incoming mail. To do
that, though, you need to set it up - you can do this via the "Filtering"
tab of the SpamBayes manager. Once that's done, the status panel on the
"General" tab will tell you if you are able to tick the "Enable filtering
box" (same tab) or not.
