[Spambayes] Outlook plugin release 008; fatal error

Outlook plugin release 008.1 running on my system

(win 2000 professional v.5.00.2195 SP3, MS Outlook 2000)

causes fatal system error in damaging the file winnt\system32\Config\System,
so that the file cannot be read and the system doesn't start again. I tried
it three times and it was always the same.

Any idea what it is?
