FWIW, this is a very common misconception, and IMO a flaw in sourceforge's
ui.  It would really make sense to remove the (very prominent) "you must be
logged in" messages if the user is already logged in.  I believe you can
submit feature requests for the sourceforge system itself, somewhere, if you
wanted to bother :)
