Yes. It plugs into Outlook, and doesn't care what mailbox server you
use. You could even connect your Outlook to a Groupwise or Notes server,
and the SpamBayes plug-in would work the same.

There is a derivative project called "Tugast" that is trying to make an
SMTP-proxy for the SpamBayes classification engine. However, nothing is
ready yet AFAIK, and when it is ready, it will be highly focused on
working with Linux/BSD/UNIX mail servers rather than Exchange servers.

If you want open-source, server-level Bayesian filtering that will work
on an Exchange server, check out http://assp.sourceforge.net. It works
as a Perl-based SMTP proxy, so it can sit in front of *any* internet
mail server,a nd run on almost any OS. However, it's classification
engine and training methods slightly different from hose in SpamBayes.
