Many thanks for that: I'm afraid I need a bit of hand-holding here.

Namely some nursery school instructions on how to apply the two 
changes: do I simply open the scripts in an editor and cut/paste the 
changes into place, or am I supposed to do something else? If so then 
what exactly. Is there anything else I need to do afterwards?
