[Spambayes] Understanding how things work

I normally received my email directly thru the comcast.net server.  With
spambayes, I now use outlook.  However, after training spambayes and
watching it work (quite well) I tried to use my comcast.net site.  All the
spam that was deleted from my account by spambayes on outlook was still
visable and accessable on the comcast.net site.  Why was it not deleted?
