[Spambayes] Question about the security of this mailing list

As we all know, spammers uses various techniques to harvest e-mail
addresses, especially from Usenet newsgroups and public forums. Since this
is a semi-private mailing list, I hope that spammers are not subscribe to
this list and collect the email addresses of anyone that posts. The question
is - is this mailing list archived anywhere that can be broken into?
