There's no reason that you can't just use 1.0.1 instead of 1.0.3.  It
definitely does not have this problem (it was introduced in 1.0.2).

If you subscribe to the spambayes-announce list, you'll get a single email
each time a new release is made (it's only for announcements, so there's no
other mail.  Something like one message every two months).  It's definitely
the easiest way to keep up-to-date.
