[Spambayes] Bug in version 1.1a1 ?

This is a known bug with (sb_server in) 1.1a1.  It's fixed in CVS so will be
fixed for 1.1a1.  For the moment sticking with 1.0.4 (or switching to
running from CVS) would probably be best, unless you really want the new
features in 1.1.
