2.2.2 includes the email package, but you can install that separately  
and use 2.2.0.  Note that the email package with 2.4 is vastly  
improved over the 2.2/2.3 one, so it's worth using that if there  
aren't other problems with 2.4 (e.g. the COM problems Mark  
mentioned).  Alternatively, you can use the 2.4 email package with  
2.3 easily enough.
