[Spambayes] MSN Email

Forgive my ignorance, but is MSN email email from an account at MSN,  
that you read in a regular email client, like Outlook or Outlook  
Express, or some sort of webmail, like Hotmail or gmail, or some sort  
of dedicated mail client?  If the latter, do you know how it gets the  
mail?  (Are there settings somewhere that ask for a POP3 or IMAP4  
mail server?)
