[Spambayes] Debug mode?

Spambayes is sticking on large messages, and I want to submit a bug report. 
It fails without error, however, and there's no corresponding log file in my 
temp directory (the only ones there are from much earlier times of the day). 
Is there a debug mode which will give a full, verbose output for me to post 
with the bug details?  Too late now, as I've managed to get this message by 
turning Spambayes off, but need to know for next time.
