[Spambayes] 'how to' question

Hi there.  I am running SpamBayes 1.0.4 on Outlook 2003 SP3.  I have been
using SpamBayes for a couple of years without issue but something changed in
the past few weeks.  For some reason every time I open Outlook I get the
delay caused by the 'request to the Outlook exchange server.'  I disabled
SpamBayes and the behavior stopped.  As soon as I reinstalled SpamBayes it
occurred again.  Is there a way to set SpamBayes to run only when I trigger
it rather than automatically at start up?  I would like to try that to see
if it stops the exchange server issue.
