[Spambayes] I think Spambayes may have started having problems with Outlook 2003

I have Vista, which I just upgraded to sp 3.  However the problems I have
had began before the update.  First I kept getting notices that I should
reconfigure SpamBayes.  I did that using the second option (can't remember
what it says now).  Basically SpamBayes stopped working at that point.  I
tried to manually train it, but the same spam kept remaining in the Inbox.
When I tried to send an email, I got an error (no number) and was unable to
send any email.  I rebooted to see if that would cure it.  It did cure it
the first time, but then I started getting the errors again and no amount of
rebooting would cure it.   I also found that I was unable to access any of
the menus in Outlook.  I could click on them (like "New Email") and nothing
would happen.  My techie suggested that I do a system restore.  Outlook
worked after that, but Spam Bayes did not.  I again got the suggestion to
reconfigure.  I tried to do that, but continued to have problems with
SpamBayes.  At that point I decided to upgrade Vista to see if the upgrade
cured any of the problems I was having.  It didn't cure anything and I was
unable to send any email.  I was receiving email the entire time.  So I
decided to uninstall SpamBayes and then reinstall it.  I uninstalled it, but
when I opened Outlook, the SpamBayes tool bar was still there.  So now I am
turning to you for assistance. Can you suggest anything to help me>
