[Spambayes] Compatibility Issue

I am using a Lenovo Laptop T61 32 bit with VISTA (soon to be changed to 
Win7). My mail server is Thunderbird v3.1.9. I tried to load SpamBayes 
and receive a message indicating it is not compatible with Thunderbird 
3.1.9. I got SpamBayes to work when I was back on the east coast using 
another computer so I am confident there is a work around. Can you help? 
(again) lol
