[Texas] Austin Python Barcamp?

Things have been rather slow on this list.....  What activities have
been completed towards the planned October 4th Python unconference?
That date is close enough for people to plan to attend or not.

On a related note: An Arkansas unconference is also scheduled for
October 4th.  More information on that conference can be found here:

Since this would be close to some areas of North Texas, it would be an
alternative should Texas be unable to formalize one this year.
