[Texas] Trying to sign up

Has spam been a problem to put a password on the registration page?
And if a spam bot hit the site, does this wiki software permit it to
be reverted?  I hope registration isn't diminished because of a
password.

I'll put my name up once I'm certain I'll be in the area.  I've been
traveling far more than I'd like.  Sorry for my lack of support on
this.
