I think this is definitely needed if different python projects want to
use slightly different schemas or templates, someone needs to maintain
them when roundup gets upgraded.

Sounds like a good way to go.


I think this might be something we can keep in the back of our minds.
If we can come up with a schema which covers python's needs, and hits
the 80/20 point for other projects this can be a cheap win for the
python community.

One obvious project to get onto the python servers would be roundup
itself, it's been lacking a roundup based tracker (in a twist of
irony).
