And again, my experience is at odds with your speculation.

That's fine; I am fine with being proven wrong. But with the main reporters
of bugs not being the developers or a core set of users but users varying
from very casual to heavy I just don't expect people to learn the email
interface to report bugs when most people don't report more than a handful a
year.
