I think there should be a beta period. I understand you want to see
this done, but I still think people should be given a chance to object.
They don't to be given too much time (e.g. two weeks), and issues
can be dismissed as non-showstoppers easily. However, if real
showstoppers are detected, I'd like to know before.
As for showstoppers: it seems that the machine is down at
the moment (Jan 29, 20:07 GMT), no?
