Thanks, Martin.  I had thought python-dev was to be used more for
higher-level discussions, but I will take your suggestion into account
going forward.

One question regarding this:

Are you suggesting that in some cases it may be better to post to
python-dev instead of setting an issue to review, or in addition to
setting it to review?
