Yeah, I got caught in those mis-instructions as well, the first couple of
times (over several months so I forgot again), and waited for a reply.

These are wrong and were brought to the attention of those who can change it
(not in an area I can change).  There was some discussion but no one had time
to actually fix it, as I recall.

Yes, the Bangalore usersgroup just migrated their members onto mail.python.org
quite painlessly, not wanting to run their own Mailman server either.

And just for general information, the Python advocacy coordinator project is
wrapping up and coming to an end on Oct 15.  I'll be heading off to other
things, probably Zope 3 work.
