[TriZPUG] Wanted: Python/Plone Programmers

The UNC Carolina Population Center (CPC) is looking for two Plone 
programmers. 

CPC is a community of scholars and professionals collaborating on 
interdisciplinary research and methods that advance understanding of 
population issues. This position is in the CPC Web Services Unit and 
involves programming and configuration of the Plone content management 
system. 

The Web Programmer will work with the Unit manager and a team of 
programmers to develop and maintain complex websites & web-based 
applications to meet the projects' dissemination, online training, 
project tracking & reporting, and collaboration needs. 

Experience with Plone and/or Python programming or other object oriented 
programming frameworks as well as HTML, XML, CSS, and Javascript is 
highly desired.  Experience with Linux, Apache, MySQL, PHP, and 
Subversion desired.  Experience developing web application software 
functionality tests and troubleshooting & resolving bugs desired. The 
Web Programmer must be able to communicate effectively with project 
staff to determine requirements, problems, priorities, and desired 
timelines. Must be able to learn new technologies quickly and adapt to 
changing needs.
