[Tutor] help

hello,
I have recently started reading a python book and
there is a sample program in the book that looks like
this

password = "foobar"
while password != "unicorn":
    password = raw_input("whats the password? ")
print "welcome, user"

I was wondering how I could take that and maybe ask
for a username and then check the username and
password to log the user in, and also maybe could
someone add users at a later time?
