[Tutor] Shut down PC

Hi,
I want to write a program to force my niece improve
her maths skills.  I can quite easily write a program
that asks her random questions. 
How can you make a python program that under certaim
cirumstances shuts down the PC (eg crashing the
program).
I know this may sound silly but she is 15 and
innumerate !
