Hi Ramukumar,

Thanks for the update.  But... what does this have to do with regular
expressions?

This mailing list is dedicated to teaching folks how to program in Python;
it's not quite useful to send security bulletins here.  The main newsgroup
at comp.lang.python might be more appropriate for security updates.

Please try to stay topical; as we get more traffic on this Tutor list, we
need to keep the signal-to-noise ratio as high as we can.

As a side note, that security bulletin appears to cover Python 2.2.  The
bulletin was written in March, so it's pretty stale.  It does not appear
to apply to the current 2.3 release.
