I've always seen "standard directory structures" (e.g. \locales\fr,
etc.) rather than custom ones as above, so I can't comment for sure
... but: try to either write
r"c:\myappfolder\Translations"
or
"c:\\myappfolder\\Translations"
to avoid possible backslash problems...
