[Tutor] ConfigParser and multiple option names

The problem I have is very similar to this:

But, I cannot change the config file layout -- it is a
read only file, so if I have the contents of the
config file (take it as config_file.lay) as 

[dir_options]
dir="/home/florian"
dir="/home/john"
dir="/home/whoever"

what method would you suggest to read each "dir" value
above from the config_file.lay?
