Too many unnecessary blank lines.
Since a drive is a letter ask user to enter a letter rather than going
through the exercise of translating letters to numbers and back.
Minimize the number of statements following try.
To print a message surrounded by blank lines consider:
print("\nMessage\n") or
print("""

""")
