Please note that this is probably the OS command prompt
(a CMD window in windows - C:\WINDOWS> or similar)
not the Python interpreter (which looks like >>>)

Always cut 'n paste the full error text, don't just try
to describe it. We need very precise details of what
exactly it looks like.
