Because to properly reead an HTML document, you need to understand the
data in the CSS.  Off the top of my head I can think of two uses I
wouild have had for this in the past; one is converting HTML documents
to PDF on-the-fly, and another was converting HTML pages for display on
a small screen device such as a PDA or a cell phone.

Also, in this case, it sounds like it is already written, or very near
completion.  So unless there is something wrong with the code (makes
heavy use of out dated modules for example), I'm not seeing the harm.
Batteries included right?
