IMO, all important Python extensions should use Python-style licenses.

People had enough trouble using PIL 0.1 which used a slightly modified
version of Python's license (it essentially said that you couldn't use PIL
unless you also used Python, something that led to mails from company
lawyers, etc.).  And some people think that anything with a GPL in it is
viral...
