[XML-SIG] Python and WDDX

	We need to come to some decision about a course of action
here.  There are a bunch of proposals for this sort of data -> XML
marshalling; WWDX, Lotos, and related things like XML-RPC.  I'm not
aware that any of these proposals are on the path toward becoming an
RFC, or even a W3C recommendation.  (Incidentally, the status of the
DOM PR should be announced today.)  So, there's no clear best
candidate for implementation.

	Question: Should some such protocol be part of the basic
package?  If so, which one(s)?  All of them? 

	My answers to the above questions are "yes", "I have no idea",
and "Maybe."

It has also been referred to as the "Don Beaudry *hack*," but that's a
misnomer. There's nothing hackish about it -- in fact, it is rather elegant
and deep, even though there's something dark to it.
