Don't despair.  So far, anyway, the most-used API to GroveMinder is
the Python API.  See http://www.techno.com.  GroveMinder offers the
most powerful and most internationally standard API to XML and SGML
resources (as well as to other kinds of resources).  GroveMinder
supports ISO HyTime linking (on which the extended form of XLink is
based).  For their development work, our users seem to prefer Python
over Visual Basic and C++.  And who can blame them?
