[XML-SIG] Ugh! Why are DOM access methods spelled with a leading '_'?

And given the stark fact of the XML infoset as fundamental model for XML, 
completely irresponsible of the W3C.  It sniffs of something a Microsoft or 
Netscape wangled in.

I wish I'd witnessed your fight.  I would have joined in.
