Are you talking about the same groves that jade, SGML and DSSSL use?

What do you mean by "XSL and XPath to process arbitrary python objects"?

If that's interesting enough, you may quickly find people that will help
you test the merging of your changes with the main tree before it goes
mainstream... :-)
