In case you'd be interested in a pygtk-based XML editor component that
parses DTDs and all that, you may want to have a look at xmleditor,
downloadable from http://www.logilab.org/xmltools

Please note that the code was released under the GPL, so it will not fit
your needs if you are looking for something to reuse for a
proprietary/closed-source app.
