That does not matter. An import is always local to the module, so if
you import it into __main__, it still won't be in PyExpat - so there
is a clear bug in PyExpat.

Sorry for the confusion. I had some 4Suite release installed, not
PyXML 0.6.3, which indeed has this bug.
