the revision I have for drv_xmlproc.py is 

$Id: drv_xmlproc.py,v 1.8 2001/03/04 22:10:49 loewis Exp $

A cvs log on the file shows that the tag o6maint was set on version 
1.8.0.2, so it looks like your changes did not make it into 0.6.6.
