Response from xml-sig participants to XML Schema is luke-warm at best;
some even openly oppose that recommendation :-)
Rich Salz is apparently the only one who was working with LTXML; as he
said, he says he's given up. It is not likely that anybody step come
forward with XML Schema support anytime soon; people are rather
looking into Relax NG, Schematron, etc.
So you are pretty much on your own. If you get something usable, you
may consider contributing it to PyXML, though.
