I am trying to use xml page to send email, the local smtp system is not adequate, so I would like to acquire the name of the mail server by myself. This is something that nslookup does (sort of). Has anyone on the list any experience getting more data from the domain name system than is available from socket.py? Like in particular the mx records? thx ..tom
