[XML-SIG] understanding the sources. wher to start?

Just to make a note: I don't mean to make my separate efforts at documentation 
mto detract from the HOWTO or reference manual.  In fact, I expect to migrate 
all the appropriate items to these standard docs soon.  My approach is more 
collation and annotation than brand new documentation.  I think is the 
shortest path to getting some of the recent thoughts in one place.
