[Mailman-Users] what is <MM-Archive>?

hi all,

i'm using an external archive, and would like to change the html on the
subscriber page that points to the archive:

    <p> To see the collection of prior postings to the list,
    	visit the <MM-Archive><MM-List-Name>Archives</MM-Archive>.
    	<MM-Restricted-List-Message>
    </p>

i assume that <MM-Archive><MM-List-Name> somehow gets transformed into
"http://whatever-the-archive-url0is".

how can i change the definition of <MM-Archive> to reflect my home brewed
archive software?
