[spambayes-dev] FW: [Spambayes] spambayes binary 1.1a3 fails to install, Error 500 + database hangs

I've seen a couple of error reports with the stats database being 'None'.
Its not clear to me what the intention of the code is - is None allowed
(meaning referencing a property without checking for None is the error), or
is there *always* expected to be a stats database (meaning something before
this code is in error in allowing the database to be None).

Anyone have any clues?

I was running the binary version 1.1a3 as proxy with outlook express on a
Windows XP system.

however database seems corrupted, reinstalling failed, now when trying to
save configuration following message appears:


any help is welcome. The previous version 1.04 used to work ok until 2 weeks
ago (probably due toe installing Internet explorer 7.
