Hi Everyone, I wanted to start this thread about PyConf Hyd 2020 and discuss that when shall we plan to organize PyConf Hyd (3rd edition) this year? Last year we started discussing very late and hence there were delays and too many last-minute things to figure out. I thought of starting discussions early this year, so feel free to share your inputs? Thanks, Sanchit

Yes it's good to start early. Also open early CFP.

Let's search for a better venue this time that fits our budget. A dedicated Track for Devsprint. Suggestion for dates - August/September seems a good time. Best, Ananya
Hello Sanchit, Thanks for the mail. As mentioned, we are planning to organise Pyconf Hyd 2020 so my point here is to plan things in advance. Depending on the size of our conference, planning should be made as early as possible. As much as a few months in advance, if we are talking about a large scale/small scale conference events need time to place all the pieces of the jigsaw in the right place. My idea is not to leave less than 6 months before the actual event. For instance: If we have a specific venue in mind or if our speakers are hard to book, our timing should depend on these factors. PS: In order to discuss/ move things further, I think we should schedule a meeting either a meetup/ call. Thank you Best Kalyan On Fri, Feb 7, 2020 at 5:51 PM Sanchit Balchandani < balchandani.sanchit@gmail.com> wrote:
