Are you running SuSE Linux? I had this problem two days ago when I upgraded mailman using YOU from 2.1.3 to 2.1.4 on my Suse 9.1 Pro on a AMD64 system.

To fix my problem all I had to do was install a python module via YAST. I can't remember the name of it right now, but it's documented in my previous post on this matter, I posted it yesterday.

After I installed that XML python item, it just started workin perfectly fine again.
