I can agree with the general premise of what Antoine is saying, but to me even as a non-participant, the following quote from the thread Brett linked seems a clear CoC violation:

This at least indicates a lengthy timeout is needed, imo.

I think a private appeal to the two or three participants to remain
cool, nice and polite would be welcome here.  Also an appeal to
think twice before posting... (is what you're going to say really going
to benefit the community?)
